About this Activity

In partnership with Boston Scientific, the Medical Education Network presents the second instalment of our Interventional Radiology (IR) programme — a focused look at how IR is redefining men’s health.

Join Dr Dale Creamer and Dr Gareth Bydawell for this one-hour, on-demand webinar as they explore how minimally invasive, image-guided therapies are improving outcomes, resulting in faster recovery, fewer complications, and greater patient satisfaction.

Step into the future of men’s health — and discover how IR is changing the game.

What this Webinar will cover

1. Urological Interventions

  • Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH): Pathophysiology, Prostatic Artery Embolisation (PAE), outcomes vs. TURP, and real-world case insights.
  • Varicocele: IR embolisation vs. surgery, recurrence, and fertility outcomes.

2. Sexual Health

  • Erectile Dysfunction: Vascular causes, revascularisation options, and emerging evidence.

3. Clinical Practice in South Africa

  • Accessing local IR services
  • Building effective referral pathways
  • Staying ahead with emerging therapies

Whether you're a urologist, oncologist, radiologist, or GP, this webinar will equip you with the knowledge and clinical insight to make informed referrals, support better patient outcomes, and be part of a multidisciplinary movement toward personalised, less invasive men’s health care.
