The Medical Education Network (MedED) Service primarily consists of the www.meded.co.za Internet site and related services such as Email, Newsletters and Surveys.

The Medical Education Network reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate your access to all or part of this site, with or without notice.

The Medical Education Network recognises the importance of its readers’ and visitors’ privacy and takes many steps to protect their privacy. This Privacy Statement discloses the privacy

Privacy of your e-mail address
The Medical Education Network provides a number of monthly newsletters, which keep our readers abreast of the latest news and events occurring on the Channel.
Additionally The Medical Education Network provides invites to events and seminars that are hosted through its Websites.

This service is free, but individuals must request to join our mailing lists by signing up through a form on our Website/s.
They are required to give their contact information including name, e-mail address and speciality, as well as demographic information including but not limited to regional location and nature of 
place of work (Government or Private).
We use this information to enhance the value of our content, the experience of our Website/ss and to better serve the needs of our target audience.
Recipients of our newsletters can unsubscribe using the instructions provided at the top and at the bottom of each newsletter.
We do not sell, rent, loan, trade or lease the addresses on our mailing list to anyone under any circumstances. In addition, our list server software is configured in such a way as to refuse to divulge the e-mail addresses of our list subscribers to anyone but authorised staff.

Using e-mail addresses provided at registration or otherwise, The Medical Education Network periodically sends out e-mail newsletters and invitation e-mail to our users about services and products offered by The Medical Education Network.
Users can also indicate whether they do not wish to receive e-mail information from The Medical Education Network or its sponsor partners. Third-parties will never contact our users through the use of our e-mail newsletter lists except through placement within the newsletters themselves, or unless users specifically ask to be placed on a list to receive e-mail from our advertisers on subjects of interest.
 

Privacy of Surveys
The Medical Education Network conducts a number of online surveys.
Participation in these surveys is completely voluntary and the respondents are given a choice whether to disclose requested demographic information

All responses collected in The Medical Education Network's online surveys are completely confidential. Only the aggregate results of data analysis are used and reported.
