About this Activity

Building upon our previous review of the Role of WhatsApp in clinical practice, it is important to similarly explore the increasing integration of artificial intelligence (AI) tools like ChatGPT in healthcare and to understand the implications of doing so.

In this AI Compendium, we will examine how doctors and medical professionals are using ChatGPT and explore the potential pitfalls and ethical considerations surrounding its use in clinical settings.

We will explore the South African legislative landscape and how it intersects with AI in healthcare, referencing our previous discussions on ethics and data privacy.
