Why should I register?
You do not need to register with us for the majority of our content. This is in keeping with our educational mandate.
However, some services—like CPD activities or content that we are legally obliged to restrict to healthcare practitioners, require that it be placed behind a log-on.
In those cases, you will need to be registered with MedED and log on to access that.
Rest assured, we will handle your information with care and will not use your details for any reason other than the above.

Your system won't accept my HPCSA Registration Number
That must be pretty frustrating. Let's see if we can resolve this quickly so you can get on with what you need to:
Usually, this happens for one of two reasons:
Please double-check that you’ve entered your alphanumeric details correctly.
HPCSA registration numbers start with letters followed by a set number of numerals.
We've been around a long time. If you’ve been with us before, your details might already be in our system, which is why we can't re-register you.

I entered my Registration Number incorrectly. What Now?
No worries—it happens to the best of us!
For general information such as your name, you can access your profile and update it once you are logged on.
For security reasons, HPCSA and other Council Registration details can’t be edited directly.
Just drop us a message with the correct number, and we’ll fix it for you right away.

We’d be very sad to see you go. If there is something we can do to make you stay, we hope you’ll contact us and let us know.
If you still want to leave, we understand. You can follow the simple steps below to do so:
1. If you only want to unsubscribe to a service, you can update your preferences or unsubscribe anytime by logging on and changing those on your Profile settings.
