The Medical Education Network is an independent medical education and information platform that is free for use by healthcare practitioners in the sub-Saharan African region.
We are committed to improving healthcare across the region.
Our mission is to ensure our members have access to current and clinically relevant, quality ( fact-checked) medical information, sourced from the best available resources, locally and internationally.
Sadly while the platform is free for use, independent publishing is expensive, and our editorial, journal and web development teams need to eat. And so we fund our mission in a number of ways, two of which are affiliate and associate marketing and paid for editorial and sponsored content.

From time to time, we publish advertorials (paid-for editorial content) and sponsored content on the site. When this is the case, the content is clearly marked as sponsored or promoted, so you’ll always know which content is editorial and which is not.
In cases where the content is for your Continued Professional Development (CPD), you will see the wording " Brought to you in the interests of your continued professional development by {Company Name}"
Where non-CPD content is sponsored, you will see the wording " Sponsored by {Company Name}"
